I have been advertising on Facebook for a little over a month, and in that time I have gotten many new fans. With success always comes hate, and I have been getting a little of that lately as well. Before today I chose to censer the hateful comments, but after today’s hater I decided I wouldn’t do that anymore, and people should be able to speak freely on my site. It is also a good way to start conversation and a community, which is of course my goal for my website. I want people visitng my site to feel like they are interacting directly with me, because you are. I make all of my music, as well as designed and maintain this webpage. Everything you see and hear is done by one man, that being me. I think that that is something that makes me special and no amount of haters could make me feel like I wasn’t extremely talented, because I know have god given talent.

The hater today brought to light the reality of the world today. We are not over racism, it still thrives in our society. Click through for the comment.

First of all, I use several stat trackers on my site so that I can see who goes where and does what, he didn’t even listen to my music, just opened up my first post and left this comment. Second, he is clearly hating on me because of my race/skin color, without even knowing if I’m a good rapper or not. Can you get any more ignorant? Rap/Hip Hop is no longer confined to African Americans, it is the ghetto, the suburbs, the country, the rich, the poverty, the black, white, yellow, brown, it is LIFE! Let alone the fact that the best rapper in the game (Eminem) is white. Obviously racism is not dead, and people like “Skeme” are here to remind us. Rap is not just yours, it is everyone’s who has the talent and courage to pick up the mic. I’m sorry that your not confident in your own ability to promote yourself like I am, but I’m here to stay and put the Northwest on the map, and you can believe that.

Hater’s like Skeme are what motivate me to better myself and represent it for all the real and true Hip Hop fans out there. Over the last month I have gotten a lot of love in emails, and I truly appreciate that. I also realize that success breeds jealousy which breeds hatred, and I’m sure that I will see a lot more hateful comments like this one. I hope that the people that visit my site and download my music will help show these ignorant racist haters what time it is and that rap is everyone’s music and that Hip Hop is life!
