J-Xile – We Out Here is my latest song release and final song on my mixtape. This is a song I have been working on for a long time, read the full story in my last blog post, Finishing Up and Moving On. Needless to say it feels good to have it done. It’s a banger and it would have sucked if I hadn’t finished it and just forgotten about it. J-Xile – 40 Barz Freestyle is a freestyle I did last night while I was practicing making beats on Pro Tools. Up until now all of my beats have been done on FL Studio, and I had to import the beats into Pro Tools to record, but I wanted to streamline the process and make it easier to make music. Pro Tools is definitely challenging as far as composing is concerned, but this beat I made is not bad for my first one on it. The freestyle is one of the best I’ve done in my opinion, and I thought it should be on the mixtape as well. You can download the updated mixtape here. I am announcing the release of my mixtape, J-Xile – Tha One and Only Mixtape. It is a work in progress and I will update the site as I add more songs to it. It currently has 11 of my best songs, and I excluded any songs that didn’t have a structure (no hook, just freestyle), and I also tried to keep it to just my beats, but there are a couple of other beats on there as well. I have some freestyles on there and all of my written songs I’ve done up to this point. J-Xile – Can’t See Me Freestyle is a freestyle I just did today in response to the haters. It’s on a Mac Dre beat, She Neva Seen, off the album Genie of the Lamp, and it is one of my favorite songs off of one of my favorite albums of his. Dowload the full mixtape here.
